Class One at Churcher's College had a wonderful day learning about how life and materials have changed over time. We journeyed to Guildford and back in time to the Victorian age to find out more about what it was like for children 100 years ago.
A group of pupils from Dauntsey's has recently returned from a Model United Nations conference in The Hague. During the conference, they represented either Mali or Turkey on various committees - including human rights and disarmament - tasked with combating some of the most pressing global issues.
Remembrance Day is always a significant event in the Hazlegrove calendar. In the lead up to this year's service, pupils were busy making ceramic poppies, designing and creating poppies in Design and Technology and handling artefacts from WW1.
Under the slogan of ‘Dream big, start small, act now’, 60 enthusiastic Sixth Formers and a number of engaging industry experts were ‘full STEAM ahead’ as they generated an audible buzz at the Cisco Offices on Green Park on November 9-10.
